Tulare-Kings Right to Life is a chapter of Right to Life of Central California. This grassroots organization exists to promote respect for all human life — from conception until natural death. Tulare-Kings Right to Life represents a diverse group of concerned individuals from all walks of life and from every corner of Tulare and Kings Counties.

Disseminate pro-life information through factual literature and programs about fetal development, abortion, alternatives to abortion, infanticide, euthanasia and related issues.

Provide information to the general public concerning support systems and services available to provide assistance to women faced with untimely or problem pregnancies.

Provide speakers and participate in pro-life activities at public fairs and other community events.


Abortion
Abortion is the willful killing of unborn children, and Tulare-Kings Right to Life — a member of Right to Life of Central California — opposes all direct abortions and believes that every attempt should be made to save the life and health of both mother and child.

Tulare-Kings Right to Life believes in the sanctity of human life, and we are committed to speaking out against the tragedy of abortion. We will continue to promote public knowledge concerning the positive alternatives to abortion.
In the words of Edmund Burke, "All that is necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing."

Euthanasia
Euthanasia is the act of causing a person's premature death, with or without the individual's knowledge or consent. Common methods of euthanasia include withholding food, fluids or routine life-saving medical treatment (passive euthanasia), or by a deliberate action, such as a lethal overdose whose intent is to cause death (active euthanasia).

Tulare-Kings Right to Life specifically opposes euthanasia and killing by which doctors or others knowingly kill individuals by a lethal dose of a drug or other means. TKRL also opposes assisting a person to commit suicide.

Infanticide
Infanticide is the killing of infants with disabilities by withholding medically needed treatment with the intent to cause death. The most frequent victims of infanticide are infants born with Down's Syndrome and spina bifida.

Tulare-Kings Right to Life believes that the presence or anticipation of mental or physical disability does not justify the withholding or withdrawal of medical care. Society has the right and the duty to intervene on behalf of children and incompetent individuals where life is in jeopardy and effective treatment is available.



Tulare-Kings Right to Life is non-partisan and non-sectarian. TKRL shall not take positions on issues not directly related to abortion, infanticide or euthanasia.



Many individuals have been standing on the sideline as observers of these life and death issues far too long. It is now time to get involved.

• Abortion is legal the full 9 months of pregnancy.
• Over 1.6 million abortions are performed in the United States each year!
  
• In the United States, less than 1% of abortions are performed because of rape or incest.
