Roe v. Wade Memorial Observance

If ... my people who are called by my name humble themselves and pray, and see my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. Now my eyes will be opened and my ears attentive to the prayer offered in this place. II Chronicles 7:14-15

Thirty-nine years after the Supreme Court's Roe v Wade decision was supposed to have put an end to the controversy over abortion by legalizing it in all 50 states, the pro-life movement remains strong and growing.

Evidence includes the pro-life sentiment expressed in exit polls at the recent midterm elections. Across the nation — except, unfortunately, in California — pro-lifers were swept into office by an electorate strongly opposed to pro-abortion ObamaCare and taxpayer funding of abortion.

In fact, polls now show 51% of Americans identifying themselves as pro-life rather than pro-choice for the first time in the 15 years that Gallup has been asking that question.

It is amazing that the pro-life movement still even exists. We are out-financed, "out-gunned," and fighting against the media and entertainment elites at all levels.

The only explanation for the continuation of this Dave and Goliath confrontation is the same as the one in the Bible: Divine Intervention.

The pro-life movement is totally dependent on God Himself on a daily basis. And so, we continually seek Him in our efforts.

Please join us on Sunday, January 22nd at Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church, 750 East Grangeville Blvd., Hanford, CA as we seek together God's forgiveness, healing, and direction.

When Christians have meetings, the devil smiles.
When Christians make plans, the devil laughs.
When Christians pray, the devil trembles.
